Hunting the split in the plot diagonal vs weight

date: 06/02/09

Data caracteristics:

bolo = 217-5a
nSide = 1024

Observation:

It seems that the split is a kind of hysteresis. The increasing parts of the weight plot or the diagonal plot corresponds to the upper part of the split in plot Diag.vs.Weight. And then the decreasing parts of the weight plot corresponds to the lower part of the split.

Reason unknown for now.

Caracteristics of the split:

Show the 'Hysteresis': We can see that the increasing and decreasing part are separated in the third graph.

Caracteristics of the weight with or without flag:

An idea was that the split may be linked to the fact that some ring are more flagged than other.
On the graph below, the blue part represents data where no flag was applied in the ring.
It is mainly on the lower part of the split but nothing very conclusive.
